Since 1976, Centurions Leadership Program has earned its reputation as an unequaled training ground for future Kansas City leaders. Today, the two-year program has more than 80 active Centurions who join more than 1,200 alumni. We are a close-knit group of women and men from diverse backgrounds; expanding our personal and professional networks within the group and throughout the community we serve.

WHAT'S NEW?

The Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce that a new Centurions cohort will be established beginning in Spring 2018. The decision to operate a second cohort comes at a time when leadership growth and development is in high demand. The KC Chamber is poised to produce a greater number of emerging civic and business leaders to learn, serve and lead in the community.

Our goal is to build the resources and infrastructure necessary for maximum participation by expanding the capacity to accept more applicants into the Centurions Leadership Program. To successfully implement quality programming for participants, KC Chamber staff and members of the Centurions Alumni Association will work with the new cohort to develop content and speakers for the 2018-2019 program year.

Applications will be made available on December 15, and will be due February 1, with interviews and acceptances to start thereafter. The new cohort will duplicate all events, programming, structure and bylaws that have been established by the program, and will primarily operate independently from the first cohort. The process by which prospective candidates are recruited and selected will remain the same.

We are looking forward to the opportunity to create a second cohort of Centurions Leadership Program participants and are ready to get started right away!
