Task Force

Save the date of May 11, 2010, for the Centurions May Task Force, Entrepreneurship: The Spirit of Kansas City. Join us and see if you have what it takes to be Kansas City’s next entrepreneur.

Start: 9:15 a.m.
Attire: Business casual

Centurions have been divided into groups that will be with a Kansas City entrepreneur during the morning session. Your designated task force member will contact you by May 7 with location and details.

Hillcrest Walk for the Homeless | 9 a.m. to noon | Saturday, May 15, 2010 | The Legends
One of two fundraisers held annually, the Hillcrest Walk for the Homeless brings out hundreds of supporters, families, civic organizations, church groups and community members walking in support of raising funds and awareness of the homeless issues facing Kansas City. Registration is open to actives, alumni, and families.

Legacy Mentoring | 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. | Monday, May 17, 2010 | MLK School
Volunteers will interact (play games, talk, help with homework, work on special projects, etc.) with students in small group or large group settings. The youth in this program are in fourth through eighth grades. Registration is open to actives only.

Board Positions

KcATC has two board positions available. The organization seeks an applicant with a background in accounting and finance to take over the role of treasurer and another applicant with the ability to focus on community relations and awareness.
