What does your company do and what is your role there?
Spencer Fane Britt & Browne LLP is a full service law firm. I am a lawyer in our financial services group. Our group focuses on representation of financial institutions (such as trust companies, banks, credit unions, mortgage companies, broker dealers, etc.).

Other organizations you volunteer or serve with: Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association Volunteer Attorney Project and Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

First job ever: Bag boy at Lund’s grocery story in Bloomington, Minnesota. They actually made me join a union at 14!

Town you first voted in:
Iowa City, Iowa. Voted on the way to a football game. (Iowa has early voting).

What would you do for a Klondike Bar? Not much. Never really got the appeal. However, not much I wouldn’t do for a good cookie.

What do you love about KC? What unique asset sells KC? Big city (i.e. we have a lot of things Des Moines, Oklahoma City and Omaha don’t), but yet it has managed to maintain a great quality of life, easy commutes and friendly people. All of that makes this a great place to live.

Have you ever broken a bone? Nope. Lots of messed up joints, torn ligaments and crooked fingers, but no breaks.

Are you a Mac or PC?
PC is fine with me.

Best (or worst) sporting event you’ve attended:
Final game of the 1991 World Series. Wow. Jack Morris was incredible that night.

Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce
