What does your company do and what is your role there?
In December of 2010, our firm, formerly Grubb & Ellis|The Winbury Group, became part of Colliers International Colliers International, one of the largest and most recognized commercial real estate firms in the world. I am a commercial real estate broker, representing buyers, tenants and sellers, and landlords in their lease and purchase or sale negotiations. My role includes: contract negotiations, site selection, financial modeling, business development and consulting.

Other organizations your volunteer or serve with: Harvesters and United Way.

First job ever: Sandwich artist! ...Or grocery sacker. Can’t remember which came first, but both are obviously prestigious positions (family connections).

Town you first voted in: Overland Park, Kansas.

What do you love about KC? What unique asset sells KC? We have a rapidly growing endurance sports culture (triathlons, cycling, running, etc.), and there is potential to leverage that to sell the city as active and healthy.

Have you ever broken a bone? No, but not for lack of effort!

Are you a MAC or PC? Mac at home. PC at work.

Best sporting event you’ve attended: 2008 NCAA Basketball National Championship—“attended” at the Brooksider!

KC place that is on your bucket list to visit: The wine cellar at JJ’s with someone else’s money.
Best Kansas City shortcut: Mission Road exit from I-35 North to the Plaza (and Oklahoma Joe’s).
