What does your company do, and what is your role there?
HNTB is an engineering and architecture design firm.  I am a project designer for the architecture division.

Other organizations you volunteer or serve with:
I serve on the board of the Kansas City Chapter of the American Institute of Architects and have served for two years on the ArtsKC Catalyst Grant selection panel. Also I will be working with the University of Kansas school of design in the development of their steering board.

First job ever: Inline skate instructor.

If you had to do without one of your five senses, which would it be? It would have to be either smell or touch.

Have you ever milked a cow? No.

Do you use Twitter? Yes.

What’s a restaurant or dish you’ve always wanted to try? I like food. So if there is something that I want to try, it rarely stays that way for long.

What’s the best thing since sliced bread? Credit cards.

What was your favorite activity (organized or otherwise) as a child? I used to hang out with my friends outside. Turns out I wouldn't be able to do that here today.

What is the easiest way you’ve found to “go green”?
Simple things... small house, short commute.

What was the first long trip you ever took? Disney World!
