What does your company do and what is your role there? encompas is the exclusive Haworth dealer of the greater Kansas City area and has been a mainstay in the workplace furniture solutions industry since 1981. encompas and Haworth together specialize in office furniture, raised floors, moveable walls, seating, and modular power/data solutions.
 
As a company representative to the architecture and design community in Kansas City, and as a degreed interior designer myself, my role at encompas includes business development and project management on projects. I am responsible for the project from start to finish including oversight of design intent, quality assurance, accuracy, schedule, and budget. I am ultimately responsible for ensuring the projects meet encompas project standards and that we meet or exceed client expectations.

What do you love about KC? What unique asset sells KC? Where to begin? I love that I learn more about the city every day, even though I’ve lived here my whole life (with the exception of that brief stint in the ‘burg mentioned above). There is always something to do for whatever age you are. It’s a friendly, welcoming city, and it has the best airport in the world!
 
Have you ever broken a bone? Yes.  I broke my right forearm in the second grade while roller-skating in the basement. 
 
Are you a MAC or PC? Mac all the way. iMac, iPod, and iPhone, baby.
 
Best (or worst) sporting event you’ve attended: Bitty soccer. It’s a hoot.
 
KC place that is on your bucket list to visit: The Tom Pendergast House (5650 Ward Parkway).
