What does your company do and what is your role there?
I am proud to be a founding member and partner leading Marquee Selections, a KC based international wine company dedicated to producing outstanding value green, global grapes! As the General Manager / Managing Director I wear many entrepreneurial hats, but at all times I am focused on strategic growth, sales and finding the best organic, sustainable, and biodynamic wines available.

Other organizations you volunteer or serve with: The Kauffman Center Ambassadors Program, Make a Wish Foundation, March of Dimes, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

First job ever: I hung the shingle out for a teenage lawn mowing service before learning the backside of the restaurant / hotel world.

Town you first voted in: Kansas City, Missouri – absentee from college.

What do you love about KC?
I love that Kansas City is both a big city and a small town at the same time. The arts and food scene in KC are alive and thriving with world class options, yet whenever I get out and about I seem to always find friends, colleagues, family and more wherever I go.

Have you ever broken a bone? As a youngster (circa 1 years old) I broke my collarbone jumping out of my crib, a jungle gym broken arm in grade school and a college broken left ankle (which btw – makes it very hard to push in a clutch).

Are you a Mac or PC?
Both for sure, graphics and design on the Mac & PC for everyday activities.

Best (or worst) sporting event you’ve attended:
Most interesting sport to attend in the last few years was Australian Rule Football, a brutal sport played without pads where people ate “meat pies” at halftime.

KC place that is on your bucket list to visit:
WWI Museum.

Best Kansas City shortcut:
Jump off I-35 at Mission Road (or pick it up from Southwest Boulevard) to cut directly south to Prairie Village / Fairway with ease… and it goes right past Oklahoma Joes.
