What does your company do, and what is your role there?
CBIZ is a national services provider for tax & accounting, benefits, payroll, and human capital – to name a few. I am a director and lead the tax practice in Kansas City.

Other organizations you volunteer or serve with: Wayside Waifs, Board of Directors & Treasurer; Ronald McDonald House Charities of KC, Finance Committee.

First job ever: Walking beans on my dad’s farm in Nebraska.

If you had to do without one of your five senses, which would it be? Smell.

Have you ever milked a cow? One would assume being from a small town in Nebraska ... but no.

Do you use Twitter? Only because the Changing Media Landscape Task Force made me. Still haven’t figured out the whole following thing not to mention why anyone would be even mildly interested in my tweets.

What’s a restaurant or dish you’ve always wanted to try? Raw oysters on the half shell.

What’s the best thing since sliced bread? The iPod! Do you realize what a hassle the Sony Walkmans were to haul around? And your music choices were limited to THE cassette or CD that you carried with you.

What was your favorite activity (organized or otherwise) as a child? Barbie dolls.

What is the easiest way you’ve found to “go green”? Recycling paper, plastic and glass at home.

What was the first long trip you ever took? Every summer as a child we went to visit my aunt in Boulder, Colorado. I always got carsick – fun times.

Do you have a hidden talent? ‘80s music trivia.
