What does your company do and what is your role there? Blue Star Benefits sells group benefits and individual insurance.  We focus on the sale and support of health, life, dental, disability and vision coverage. I am engaged in the management of the business and the sale of products to individuals and businesses.

Other organizations you volunteer or serve with: WC II, LP, CB Rail Investments, HBHA Alumni Board, Community Growth Initiative.

First job ever: Waste Consultant (garbage man).

Town you first voted in: Leawood, Kansas.

What do you love about KC? What unique asset sells KC? I love the people; in general, they’re very nice to deal with. I think the best parts about Kansas City are the arts and the yoga.

Have you ever broken a bone? Nope.

Are you a Mac or PC? I like apples.

Best (or worst) sporting event you’ve attended: Chiefs v. St. Louis in 2001 (I think). St. Louis was favored and we killed them.

KC place that is on your bucket list to visit: I-70 Drive-in Movie Theater & The Mutual Musicians Foundation.
