What does your company do, and what is your role there?
The University of Kansas Hospital is an academic medical center that serves the state of Kansas, western Missouri and the beyond. My role is to generate philanthropic gifts to support the cancer patient services and programs we offer.

First job ever:
After babysitting, I worked at Natural Wear in Westport.

What’s a restaurant or dish you’ve always wanted to try?
I recently learned about the oldest soul food restaurant in Kansas City, Papa Lews. I want to try that.
What’s the best thing since sliced bread?
The moving picture show.
What was your favorite activity (organized or otherwise) as a child?
I always thought Boy Scouting was so cool.
What is the easiest way you’ve found to “go green”?
Reusable bags at the grocery store.
What was the first long trip you ever took?
I remember a family road trip to New Orleans as a young girl.
