What does your company do, and what is your role there? We provide architecture and interior design services for public and private entities. I’m the director of marketing so I oversee all activities that pertain to building and maintaining our brand and obtaining new work.

Other organizations you volunteer or serve with: I’m involved with Project Change (Team Captain), Border Challenge for Autism (co-chair) Central Exchange, Young Friends of Art, Hello Art and Young Real Estate Professionals (YREP).

First job ever: Collating specs at my dad’s architectural firm – I think I was in kindergarten at the time.

If you had to do without one of your five senses, which would it be?
Smell.

Have you ever milked a cow? No. Probably never will.

Do you use Twitter? I have a personal account that I rarely use and I manage our company’s account.

What’s a restaurant or dish you’ve always wanted to try? Le Fou Frog.

What’s the best thing since sliced bread? PDAs – particularly the iPhone. The ability to organize everything in one small little device is pretty incredible.

What was your favorite activity (organized or otherwise) as a child? Starting in high school, lacrosse. It’s a great sport and I’m excited that it is growing so rapidly in KC.

What is the easiest way you’ve found to “go green”? Buy an SUV. Just kidding. Buying local whenever possible is my #1.

What was the first long trip you ever took? Washington, D.C., was the first place I ever flew to.

Do you have a hidden talent? I wish.
