What does your company do, and what is your role there? At Fleishman-Hillard, an international communications firm, I am a managing supervisor within the food and agribusiness practice group. Primarily, I work on nutrition initiatives for the foodservice and food manufacturing industries.

Other organizations you volunteer or serve with: Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts - Encore.

First job ever: Barista at Panera or, at that time, the St. Louis Bread Company.

If you had to do without one of your five senses, which would it be? Sight! Love the “visual” arts.

Have you ever milked a cow? No.

What’s a restaurant or dish you’ve always wanted to try? Still need to make it to Farmhouse in the River Market. It’s on my list!

What’s the best thing since sliced bread? My iPhone has truly changed the way I communicate and work.

What was your favorite activity (organized or otherwise) as a child? “Making books.” I wrote and illustrated “books.” My mother “published” them by putting them on the refrigerator.

What is the easiest way you’ve found to “go green”? I try to eat organically as much as possible.

What was the first long trip you ever took? My parents used to drive from Springfield, Mo., to Surf City, N.J., to visit my grandparents in the summer.

Do you have a hidden talent? If I told you, it wouldn’t be hidden … .
