What does your company do, and what is your role there? UMB Bank is a diversified financial services company. Commercial banking, business development and lending is my world. I manage the South region within the Kansas City metro.

Other organizations you volunteer or serve with: South KC Chamber of Commerce, St. Joseph Medical Center Foundation, Kansas City Zoo.

First job ever: Cut and lay sod.

If you had to do without one of your five senses, which would it be? Smell. No question. Let’s face it … not everything smells wonderful in this world. Ever roomed with Ty Hudson?

Have you ever milked a cow? Hmmm … is this a trick question?

Do you use Twitter? No. Definitely not.

What’s a restaurant or dish you’ve always wanted to try? Spin Pizza.

What’s the best thing since sliced bread? Navigation in the car. I spend a lot of time in the car… .

What was your favorite activity (organized or otherwise) as a child? Sports. Baseball, football, basketball.

What is the easiest way you’ve found to “go green”? Drive a Tahoe?

What was the first long trip you ever took? Yellowstone. That was a LONG trip as a kid yearning to see a bear from the car window. I’m convinced there are no bears in Yellowstone.
